trell kimmons

Trell Kimmons is a renowned Olympic athlete. He was part of a Gold medal winning 4×100 meters relay squad that established a junior world record with 38.66 seconds. He attended Hinds Community College where he earned 3 national titles for 200m outdoor in 2005, 60m and 200m indoor in 2006 . He then committed to Mississippi State but chose to go pro. He finished fourth in the 60 meters at the 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships with 6.59 seconds. At the 2010 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, he won a silver medal behind Walter Dix. At the 2010 Weltklasse Zürich meeting, he ran a new personal best of 9.95 seconds over 100 meters, becoming the 72nd person to break the 10-second barrier.

In 2012, Trell competed in the Summer Olympics for the USA relay team in the 4x100 earning a silver medal.

Now, Trell is noted for owning several businesses in the area: Great Value Cleaners, Tunica Cleaners, Kimmons Rentals, and Nchez Glam Bar Salon. He also serves as a Realtor for the surrounding area.

Jelissa myers

Jelissa Myers been dancing since age 7 and is trained in various dance styles. She is also a member of Memphis’ only professional tap dance company, The Hot Foot Honeys. You may have seen her on a local community theatre stage or as a tap dancing Santa!

She is a native of Horn Lake, MS and has 2 brothers, a niece, and a German shepherd/boxer mix named Morocco.

 In her professional life, she holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition Science and is a laboratory manager at UTHSC working in cancer research.

With faith being at the forefront of her life, Jelissa also serves at her local church, West Antioch #2 MB Church (Coldwater, MS), as their media specialist and sound engineer.
