WILL BROWN

Will Brown is a native of Hernando, Miss., where he lives with his wife Katie, and he is a lifelong Elvis fan. Will is a Vice-President for Bright River Wealth Management at UBS, where he services clients through financial planning and implementing portfolio strategies.  Will is actively involved in his community, and serves as President of the MidSouth Music Institute/CoroRio, President of Kudzu Playhouse, an Allie Awards Judge, and is a regular performer in the choral, theater and church music scene. Will is the past President of the Hernando Rotary Club, a member of the Hernando KREWE, and a board member of the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi, where he regularly volunteers for local community service events. Will is grateful to his ever patient dance partner, and appreciates the opportunity to participate in this great event! 


 
 

Jelissa myers

Jelissa was born in Memphis, Tenn., but lives in Horn Lake, Miss. with her fur baby Morocco. She has been dancing since she was seven years old and is trained in various styles: hip hop, ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical at LRP Studios (Southaven, MS), liturgical/praise dance at West Antioch #2 MB Church, as well as pom and show choir at Horn Lake Middle and High Schools.

Jelissa is a founding member and choreographer for Urban Dance Club at Belhaven University in Jackson, Miss. She recently became a member of the only professional tap dance company in Memphis, The Hot Foot Honeys, and has performed in the Memphis Symphony Orchestra’s “Magic of Memphis” concert.

Jelissa is currently a graduate student and research assistant at the University of Memphis, where she is pursuing a Master of Science in Nutrition Science degree. She is a part-time small business owner of JAM Packed Foods, specializing in healthy plant-based meals & sweet treats. Jelissa is really excited about participating in the 2024 Dancing for Our Stars event and taking the stage with her partner Will.
