Paired with: Jessica Benson and Justin Jaggers
Maggie Green first laced up her tap shoes at 11 years old and she’s been dancing ever since. A San Diego native, she moved to Memphis at 13 and competed in tap, jazz and contemporary styles at Studio B Dance in Germantown.
Maggie then headed to Yale University to earn her degree in Film Studies with a concentration in Screenwriting. While in college, Maggie competed with the Yale Ballroom Dance Team for three semesters and choreographed with Yale Danceworks for eight, serving as co-president for her spring and fall semesters in 2013. During that time, Maggie co-choreographed the half-time show for the 2013 Yale-Brown football game and performed for thousands of children while on tour with Yale Children’s Theatre in Taiwan.
Now working for a local non-profit, Maggie still finds time to dance and began teaching introductory aerial classes for High Expectations Aerial Arts in January 2018. Last year, she had the honor of competing in Dancing for Our Stars with Justin Jaggers, and she’s excited for the opportunity to return to this year’s show.
