Jodie Ross is a native of Louisville, Mississippi. She is a 2010 graduate of Mississippi University for Women where she received her bachelor’s degree in music therapy. In 2011, she began working as the board certified music therapist at The Baddour Center in Senatobia, Mississippi. Jodie has worked at Baddour for the past 5 years.

Jodie is also a professionally trained dancer and choreographer. She studied dance from 1994-2006 in the styles of ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical. She also competed in numerous dance competitions- Dance Teachers United, Nexstar, International Dance Challenge, and Co. Dance. Jodie taught classes and choreographed for the competition team at Louisville Ballet School from 2004-2007.  She continues to teach dance and choreograph routines for individual residents as well as the creative movement team, Hearts in Motion, at The Baddour Center. She also has taught the Dream Team, a dance class for kids with special needs, Adult Dance, and BarreFit at Stars in Motion in Hernando.

In May 2011, she married her husband, Cody. In March 2015, she and her husband welcomed their firstborn son, Griffin. They also have a 4 year old fur baby, a Basset Hound, named Dixie. They are active members of First Baptist Church in Senatobia. In her free time, Jodie enjoys crafting, playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends.
