Paired with Tracy Goforth

Jill Morris has been teaching dance for 29 years, 22 of those at Stars In Motion. She is proficient in all dance styles and teaches all levels, preschool through adult. Her training includes master classes with Russian ballet master Valery Lantrotov, Dayton contemporary dance company, David Dorfman, Merce Cunningham Company, and many more. She travels to NYC each year to take class and continue training with prestigious teachers and choreographers at Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey, DNA and with Merce Cunningham Dance Company.  In Los Angeles, Jill trains at Edge performing arts center, Debbie Reynolds Dance, Millennium, Hollywood Aerial Arts, and Trapeze School of New York at LA
Jill is a member of Southern Association of Dance Masters and serves as artistic director for Ballet DeSoto.  She is a member of the Mississippi Tobacco Free Coalition, DeSoto Arts Council Board of Directors, and the Northwest Mississippi Regional Health Council. 

Some fun highlights of her career include Choreographing the pregame show for the Liberty Bowl game, halftime show for the Florida State Golden Girls and being selected for the governor’s panel for a healthier generation. 

Jill and her husband Mike live in Lake Cormorant, Mississippi with their Bichon, Pink, and have three grown children.
