Austin & Liz Carroll

Meet our extraordinary duo - Liz and Austin Carroll.

Austin’s claim to fame is being declared the winner of a record breaking show, “The One: Making of a Music Star.”  This show had the lowest rated premiere in ABC history, and only lasted a few episodes before the season was abruptly cut short, ultimately crowning Austin as the first and last winner of the show.  Austin went on to be signed with Arthouse Entertainment and stayed in Los Angeles to write some great songs and work with some of the most well respected artists in Hollywood, like Lindsey Lohan and Britney Spears…

Meanwhile, Liz was literally in middle school, spending her afternoons tap dancing at Performing Arts of Germantown.  Liz eventually went on to Mississippi State University, where she changed her major three times in two years, before moving back home to Memphis because she met a boy.

Destiny does have a sense of humor, but this dynamic duo has proven to be a force to be reckoned with since the day they met.  Together, they started Austin Carroll Vocal Arts, the premiere vocal studio for competition, pageants, and artist development.  They run the Miss Mid-South Fair Volunteer Pageant, and Austin is the Musical Director of the Miss Volunteer America National Pageant.

When they are not chasing trophies and crowns, they are chasing their three children- Stella (10), Layla, and Lennon (4 year old twins).  You can catch Austin most weekends on the piano at Moondance Grill, and when he is not there, he is busy helping folks at Bradford Health, turning substance abuse treatment into a symphony of recovery.

Prepare to be entertained, and to get a good laugh, by Austin and Liz Carroll - the dynamic duo with voices like Jesus and Fergie, and dance moves that are sure to land them on bedrest for the foreseeable future.
